There are many ways to volunteer for the Helpline.
Phone - Case Workers: If you are interested in talking with callers and helping them move their lives towards self-sufficiency, we would love to hear from you. Phone hours on Wednesday & Thursday are 10:30am - 12:30am.
Events: The Helpline puts on two fundraiser events each year. We are always looking for neighbors who want to help out. The Taste of West Seattle is held each spring and our annual Wine Tasting event is held in the fall. We can use help to sell and/or collect tickets, hang posters, help set-up.
Web Development: Help us develop a professional web site.
Office Help: Filing, data entry, organizing, letter writing.
Donate: There is no need to wait for a special event. People are in need year round and your contributions are always welcome. Send checks to the mailing address on our contact page. We also accept credit card donations. Want to give regularly? We can set up an automatic monthly charge to your account. Please contact us if you're interested.
